Jerome Lambert was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Jaeger-LeCoultre in 2001 at the age of 33. Mr. Lambert was formally educated in business administration and obtained a Master’s degree fromthe Université de Lausanne. His first career positions were in mass retailing and then in financial management at La Poste Suisse, where he developed a keen sense for efficient operations and financial discipline.
He joined Jaeger-LeCoultre in 1996 as Financial Controller, only to be promoted shortly thereafter to Chief Financial and Operating Officer, and was also in charge of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s logistics and human resources.
