Born in 1976 in Reims, Laurent Haug studied economics at University of Lausanne School of Business. In 1996, he joined a start-up, Netface, as Web manager. Three years later he moved to Arthur Andersen Business Consulting in Geneva to work in the new technologies team. After Andersen’s dissolution in the wake of the Enron scandal, Laurent Haug joined a new structure that later became BearingPoint, then the e-business team at Pictet, Switzerland’s largest private bank. In May 2005, Laurent Haug decided to launch his own business and founded Lift lab, providing consulting services to help organizations understand and anticipate technological change.
