Peter Brabeck-Letmathe joined Nestlé in 1968. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Nestlé SA, having been its CEO from 1997 to 2008, guiding the company to a leading market position. He is also a member of the Boards of L’Oreal, Credit Suisse Group, Exxon, and Delta Topco (Formula 1). He is a member of the Foundation Board of the World Economic Forum and Chairman of the 2030 Water Resources Group, a PPP housed in the IFC/World Bank in Washington. As such, he has a unique standpoint to analyze the issue of social responsibility and the role of corporations in an increasingly interdependent world.
