Use of the Site is subject to the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). The FHH reserves the right to revise these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will take effect for all users on the date they are posted online. Consequently, users must regularly consult the Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the Site. In using this Site, you acknowledge that you were informed of these Terms on entering the Site and of the need to consult them prior to any use of the Site. Consequently, in using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms you are not authorised to use the Site.

Use of content on the Site

The FHH maintains this site for your personal information. You may download onto a computer or print a copy of material from this Site solely for your personal, domestic, educational or non-commercial use, on condition that you do not make changes to the Site and specifically that you do not delete or alter indications of copyright © and other proprietary notices. Unless otherwise indicated, all images and text on the Site, such as logos, photographs, including of persons, images, illustrations, icons, texts, film and animations (“FHH Content”) is protected by copyright, the brands’ rights and by the provisions of international treaties, and this for the entire world.

FHH Content cannot be altered or used in any way whatsoever, in particular reproduced, displayed or distributed to the public, commercialised or incorporated into a derivative work for any public or commercial purpose. FHH Content cannot be used or displayed for any purpose as part of another website or in a computer network. If you breach any of these Terms, your permission to use FHH Content will be automatically terminated and you must immediately destroy any copies of FHH Content that you have made. Unauthorised use of FHH Content may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, privacy laws, publicity laws, and general communication statutes and regulations. It is expressly forbidden to create a hypertext link to the FHH Site from a third-party site without prior written permission.

Submission of information by the user to the Site

The FHH will consider any unsolicited communication, information or content which you submit to the Site by e-mail or other means, excluding personal identifying data about yourself, and including but not limited to data, questions, answers, comments, suggestions and similar messages, to be non-confidential and non-proprietary. In posting information to the Site, you grant the FHH a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable and non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, edit, translate, distribute, represent and display such information, either alone or as part of another work, using any present or future form, media, or technology, and to transfer these rights to a third party. The FHH can use submitted or posted content for any purpose including but not limited to reproduction, disclosure, transmission, publication, broadcast and posting, or to develop, manufacture and commercialise products using such information.

Protection of Personal Data

The FHH is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to the Site and implements a policy which guarantees a high standard of privacy protection.

The personal data you provide the FHH when formulating a request or subscribing to a service is provided willingly, knowingly and with your consent. Subscription forms include mandatory fields (shown by an asterisk (*)). If the mandatory fields are not completed, the FHH may not respond to your request or activate selected options.

Only duly authorised FHH staff and, on occasion, persons or companies carrying out internal operations as part of the FHH’s activities will have access to the personal data you provide in subscription forms. All these people are bound by confidentiality agreements and agree to respect your privacy. Your personal data will be used to provide you with the requested services. It may also be used for market research in relation to the FHH’s activities and to inform you of FHH events.

Except in the aforementioned cases, the FHH will not use your personal data for unsolicited communication. The FHH does not sell, rent or otherwise make available the personal data it receives and will only disclose this information to its legal counsel or if obliged to do so by law or court ruling. The FHH will make every endeavour to ensure that personal data is kept secure at all times.

In all cases and on request, the FHH will remove your personal data from its database which will automatically unsubscribe you from its services. On written request, you can access your personal data and/or request that it be corrected, altered or removed.

The FHH may have to adapt its privacy policy to comply with changes in legislation. Its privacy policy can be consulted at any time on its website: www.hautehorlogerie.org.

The FHH database is maintained in Switzerland and FHH privacy policy is governed by and construed in accordance with Swiss law, with no recourse to private international law. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland.

The FHH privacy policy illustrates the FHH’s commitment to managing your personal data in accordance with prevailing legislation and to fully protect your privacy.

The information on the Site is published for general information only. Unless otherwise stated, information given by this Site and its Content is intended primarily to promote services provided by the FHH. The FHH in no way affirms that Content of the Site is appropriate or available for use in every country. You visit the Site at your own risks and must respect the legislation in force in your country inasmuch as access to FHH Content may be illegal for certain people or in certain countries.

Any action or claim concerning the Site must be commenced within two years after the claim or the cause for dispute occurs.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Swiss law, without recourse to the provisions of international private law. Any action or claim shall come under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland. Any waiver of infringement of one of the provisions of these Terms by the FHH does not imply waiver of infringement of another provision.
